This position is for a Boutique Manager at our ROYCE' New Jersey location reporting directly to ROYCE' Confect USA, the brand's official US division and distributor.

Responsibilities:
Boutique Managers are responsible for building a culture of premium in-store service, which includes assisting customers with their needs, pitching products and gift suggestions to consumers, and answering their questions regarding brand and product information (allergens present in products, brand history, among others).
This job also includes training sales associates and managing their shifts and work schedule.
A Boutique Manager must keep track and fix product deliveries and doublechecking daily product inventory and cash sales.
Must be open to working on weekends and holidays.
Drive For Results:
Boutique Managers are expected to observe and manage inventory.
They are also responsible for monitoring the individual work ethic and performance of their sales associates and working with each of them where improvements are needed.
Boutique Managers are also encouraged to talk to the company's upper management about suggestions on how to improve sales and marketing pitches based on their firsthand experiences working on the sales floor.
Customer Service:
Excellent customer relations and good team management skills are crucial for this position.
Boutique Managers are expected to have these in resolving customer disputes and complaints.
Operations:
Daily operations include but are not limited to:
cleaning the store before opening and closing, doublechecking expiry dates on products, keeping track of dry goods and office supplies, and ensuring accuracy for product inventories and cash flow.
Boutique Managers are also responsible for drafting monthly staff schedules and ensuring that shifts are always filled.
Merchandising/Visual:
Boutique Managers must ensure that the selling floor is neat, clean, organized, and always reflects the correct visual image of the brand.
They are also required to check the boutique's needs and maintain displays.
Qualifications:
Ideal qualifications include 1 to 5 years of experience in retail and/or boutique management (having worked with food is an advantage), strong communication and interpersonal skills, and flexibility in work schedule (including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, special selling events, and holidays as brand operations will require).
