VETERINARY MEDICAL DIRECTORVets on the Hudson, located within the vibrant community of Edgewater, New Jersey is actively seeking a full-time Veterinary Medical Director to join our practice.
This opportunity offers a highly competitive annual base salary of 200,000 to 225,000, production-based incentive pay, and a comprehensive benefits plan including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401k retirement plan, paid vacation, continuing education, and paid licensing dues.
Compensation is negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Perform medical examinations and provide diagnoses for pets- Develop and implement treatment plans for various conditions and illnesses- Perform surgical procedures- Administer vaccinations and medications- Provide preventive care, including dental cleanings and parasite control- Educate pet owners on proper nutrition, behavior, and overall pet care- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school- Valid state veterinary license- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and procedures- Excellent management skills- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and staff members- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple cases simultaneously- Compassion and empathy towards animals and their ownersIf you feel that this role would be a perfect fit for you as a Medical Director, we look forward to you joining the Vets on the Hudson family!Location:
