POSITION
Summary:
Responsible for developing new business, underwriting, structuring, and the closing of commercial loans, as well as maintaining and servicing an existing portfolio.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
New business development, including new commercial loan originations and fee income
Maximize bank profitability through appropriate pricing of new loan originations, fee income, and cross-selling of all bank products & services.
Monitor an existing commercial real estate loan portfolio to ensure proper risk ratings and early identification of potential problems.
Evaluation of credit risk in conjunction with the credit department for new loan applications
Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority with the bank as required.
Support the bank's strong relationship banking culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge.
Prepare basic management reports
Provide assistance to branch managers for developing new business within their markets, inclusive of, attending bank sponsored events and other networking events to promote new business development.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1. Continued oversight and management of all business accounts originating from the Dumont Branch.
2. Maintain community visibility and maintain relationships established in the Dumont Region.
3. Provide direction and management to the Assistant Branch Manager as the position transition into more of a supervisory role
4. Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of commercial real estate lending experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
BOOK OF BUSINESS IN BERGEN COUNTY IS A MUSTEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
