Operations and Compliance Supervisor


Burlington Stores is looking for a responsible and energetic leader that takes great pride in Compliance. In this role as a Supervisor, Receiving Freight & Compliance, you have the responsibility to oversee our day to day warehouse operations, lead a team of associates, while helping to create a positive environment. You will oversee our 2nd shift (3:30pm-12:00pm, Monday - Friday). This role ensures that policies, rules, and regulations of Burlington requirements are being followed by all domestic and international vendors. After shipments have passed the verification and compliance process they will then be responsible for overseeing that all Burlington shipments are sent for receiving.

Partner with Legal, Supply Chain, DC Management and RFC management on any receiving issues and product recall. Responsible for reporting any changes that should be made to the SOP Manage and train Receiving Freight and Compliance Auditors and Leads Deliver yearly appraisal review Attend quarterly training & seminars through Burlington learning leaders at Burlington Provides solutions and feedbacks with the team and Managers Partner with HR and Payroll. Able to coach in the moment

Candidate must have a Bachelor s Degree and 3-5 years of experience in Vendor Compliance and Quality Audit. All candidates must be able to show strong problem solving, organizational and communication skills. This role requires one to work in a distribution center environment, and candidates must be comfortable working and walking within that space.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
