Manager, Inventory Control


Burlington Stores is looking for a responsible and energetic leader that takes great pride in inventory control and leading others. As an Inventory Control Manager you ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity for project management policies and procedures, strategic project lifecycle models for the team, Inventory Research / Analysis, Periodic Physical inventories and the development of SOP s for sound inventory practices across Multiple Distribution Centers and Warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and instill strong, independent teams that assumes ownership and responsibility for each of their areas, personnel, and issue.
  • Defines new procedures, processes and tools for improving the support of the operation, to minimize costs and improve system(s) availability to the organization.
  • Provide strategic communication with Senior Manager and Director as necessary to report project management opportunities and developmental plans to ensure agreement on required business objectives, resources, financials and project deliverables.
  • Work across multiple functions, scheduling and executing delivery of objectives for multiple
  • Member of the Regional Disaster Recovery team responsible for inspection and valuation of inventory loss for financial reporting and operational coordination related to accidents and natural disasters.
  • Oversee the monitoring, inspection, and documentation of all SOX controlled reports
  • Partner with Internal and External Audit Teams in documenting and testing Key and Non-Key Financial and Operational SOX controls to ensure compliance and remediation of any noted gaps or deficiencies.


  • Bachelor s Degree
  • Extensive management experience and work experience in Inventory Control
  • Proven ability to drive the Customer Experience and continuously deliver key results

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
